  • This is a tool to allow you to check your work on basic beam problems. In your homework solution, show your work.
  • You are responsible for using consistent units: [pounds & inches], [pounds & feet], [newtons & meters], etc.
  • Do not mix inches and feet, meters and millimeters, inches and meters, etc.
  • Results are in terms of the units system you are using. If you enter the force in pounds and the distances in feet, the resulting forces are in pounds, and moments in pound-feet.
